Open Sky policy-1

▪️Open Sky policy refers to an agreement between two countries that allows any number of airlines to fly from these countries without any restriction on the number of seats, number of flights, number of destination and prices etc.

▪️India currently has open Sky policy with the US without any restriction. India has an agreement with UK with some restrictions and a limited open sky with ASEAN countries.

▪️The National Civil Aviation Policy has proposed to remove restrictions on the number of flights in the SAARC Nations and with the countries within the radius of 5000 km
